  20. First, I would recommend that you buy the HP660C as opposed to the
  21. HP600C.  The 600C has only one bin for an ink cartridge, so you have
  22. to have either the color or the black cartridge in, not both.  This is
  23. not the case with the 660C.  Printing black text with the 600C while
  24. the color cartridge is in results in purple-ish looking black because
  25. the printer has to create the color black from the three base colors.
  26. It looks pretty bad.  I recently bought the HP660C, and I am quite
  27. happy with it.  I purchesed Studio Professional II, which includes a
  28. dedicated HP600/800 series driver.  The software is complex, but the
  29. results are worth it.  It also has a very nice print program that
  30. allows you to have a great deal of control over your printouts.
